Imperative

Hi friends,

Let's not stop learning English.
English will make you better in your daily life.
It is prestigious. Other will look you different if you can speak or write something in English.
Believe me.
Now, let's study about imperative verb.

IMPERATIVE VERB

You can use the verb directly without "to".
Here is positive imperative.

Example:
  1. Come on! (Ayo!)
  2. Go out! (Keluar!)
  3. Come here! (Kemari!)
  4. Open your book! (Buka bukumu!)
  5. Close your dictionary! (Tutup kamusmu!)
  6. Read this passage! (Baca tulisan ini!)
  7. Write this sentence! (Tulis kalimat ini!)
  8. Put it here! (Taruh di sini!)

And then, we can add "don't" before the verb to prohibit somebody.

Example:
  1. Don't cheat! (Jangan nyontek!)
  2. Don't sit here! (Jangan duduk di sini!)
  3. Don't close the window! (Jangan tutup jendela!)
  4. Don't use flashlight! (Jangan gunakan senter!)
  5. Don't go! (Jangan pergi!)
  6. Don't leave me alone! (Jangan tinggalkan aku sendiri!)
  7. Don't sing in the class! (Jangan menyanyi di kelas!)
  8. Don't sit on the stair! (Jangan duduk di tangga!)
I hope this is useful for you.

Thank you so much,
Your English Teacher,

Skeptics, however, have dismissed the shroud as a medieval forgery created using paint or even crude photography. How recently did the shroud undergo carbon dating? More... Discuss
