There is and There are

In this time, we will study "There is" and "There are".

THERE IS

There is + Singular Noun

Example:
  1. There is a student. (Ada seorang siswa.)
  2. There is an eel. (Ada seekor belut.)
  3. There is a goat. (Ada seekor kambing.)
  4. There is one man. (Ada seorang laki-laki.)


THERE ARE

There are + Plural Noun

Example:
  1. There are two students. (Ada dua siswa.)
  2. There are three eels. (Ada tiga belut.)
  3. There are ten goats. (Ada sepuluh kambing.)
  4. There are some men. (Ada beberapa laki-laki.)
