FUTURE TENSE (Waktu yang Akan Datang)

1. Simple Future Tense

I / We + shall + V1 (infinitive)
You / She / He / It / They + will + V1 (infinitive)

a. Untuk menyatakan perbuatan yang akan dilakukan pada waktu yang akan datang.
He will post the letter tomorrow.
I shall go to Magelang next Sunday.

b. Untuk menunjukkan suatu persyaratan
He will give you a good answer if you go with him.

c. Untuk memohon kepada orang lain untuk melakukan sesuatu.
Will you help me to get the book?


2. Future Continuous Tense

I / We + shall + be + V-ing (be present participle)
You / She / He / It / They + will + be + V-ing (be present participle)

Untuk menunjukkan suatu perbuatan yang akan sedang terjadi.
I shall be working at nine o’clock tomorrow morning.
Agus will be traveling in Japan next year.


3. Future Perfect Tense

I / We + shall + have + V-III (past participle)
You / She / He / It / They + will + have + V-III (past participle)

Untuk menyatakan suatu perbuatan yang telah/sudah dilakukan pada waktu lampau dan akan selesai pada waktu yang akan datang.
Widy will have done his work by the end of this week.
I shall have read this book next week.


4. Future Perfect Continuous Tense

I / We + shall + have + been + V-ing (present participle)
You / She / He / It / They + will + have + been + V-ing (present participle)

Untuk menyatakan suatu perbuatan yang telah/sudah dilakukan pada waktu lampau dan perbuatan itu ada kemungkinan dilanjutkan pada waktu yang akan datang.
We shall have been studying German for three years in the end of this year.
Lolita will have been working in her office for five years in the Christmas.
