Konjungsi "both ... and ..." menghubungkan kata benda (noun), kata sifat (adjective), kata keterangan (adverb), kata kerja (verb), frase (phrase), atau klausa (clause).
Contoh:
1. Kata benda:
Both I and she are happy.
He buys both shoes and sock.
2. Kata sifat:
Roni is tall and strong.
The blanket is soft and light.
3. Kata keterangan:
He works quickly and accurately.
The speaker delivered the speech both clearly and slowly.
4. Kata kerja:
I am both reading and typing the story.
You make the payments and keep the accounts.
5. Frase:
Both reading book and shopping in the mall are her hobbies.
My sister likes both listening pop music and creating modern dance.
6. Klause:
Both they go to Tawangmangu and see the Grojogan Sewu.
